Madinah, Saudi Arabia, 24 April 2024 — Under the Esteemed Patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah region, Rua Al Madinah Holding participated as an Official Partner at the first edition of Umrah and Ziyarah Forum, Organized by Ministry of Hajj and Umrah from April 22-24, 2024, at the King Salman International Convention Center.
The event marks great importance for representing Umrah and Ziyarah, which is poised for substantial growth; where the company showcased its efforts and contributions within the development plans to enhance the hospitality sector in the Kingdom, which is currently experiencing significant growth. The company aims to add 47,000 hotel rooms by 2030 and elevate the provided services.
The Forum served as a critical platform for discussing sector challenges, fostering collaborative efforts to enrich the visiting journey of visitors and pilgrims, and sharing insights among policymakers and service providers. It also focused on streamlining service communication, shifting from solitary to collective endeavors, devising solutions for existing challenges, and converting current obstacles into future opportunities, all underpinned by innovation to optimize the hospitality extended to the guests of the Merciful.
Ahmad W. Al Juhani, CEO of Rua Al Madinah Holding, participated in a roundtable session titled “Development Opportunities in Housing and Hospitality Services,” highlighting the project’s potential to elevate the visitor experience in Madinah. The discussion also covered the project’s diverse hotel designs, ranging from two to five stars, aiming to attract various social segments and accommodate different economic levels.
