About the Project
The Islamic Civilization Village is a cultural and educational project that showcases the richness of Islamic civilization throughout eight geographical regions, each highlighting different aspects of Islamic history. It offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy a variety of historical displays and interactive activities enhanced by modern technologies that bring to life the creative achievements of Islamic history and the unique contributions of Muslims throughout the ages.
The project, which spans an area of over 257,000 square meters, will include a diverse range of shops, restaurants, and cafes with exceptional cultural characteristics, providing outstanding and comprehensive services. This aims to enrich the experience of Madinah visitors and enhance its status as a global Islamic destination, in line with the goals of Hajj & Umrah sector in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The project will contribute to creating an active engagement among visitors to Madinah with Islamic heritage and enhance their understanding of different Islamic cultures, making it an attractive and distinctive destination. The project gains its significance from the diverse Islamic cultural content it presents, which is in line with the status of Madinah and the project’s location near the Prophet’s Mosque. Additionally, it will contribute to promoting development in the region by offering promising investment opportunities to the private sector and creating job opportunities for the local population.
