Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – 13 February 2025: Rua Al Madinah Holding, a PIF company, has signed two contracts as part of its efforts to accelerate the development of Rua Al Madinah Project, one of the Madinah’s largest hospitality projects aimed at facilitating the hosting of 30 million visitors by 2030, in alignment with the goals of the Pilgrims Experience Program. This comes during the company’s participation in the third edition of the PIF Private Sector Forum 2025, organized by the Public Investment Fund on 12-13 February at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh. The contracts align with the company’s strategy to support local content and reinforce its commitment to innovation, in line with PIF’s strategic objectives and Saudi Vision 2030 to empower the private sector.

On this occasion, Eng. Ahmed W. Al Juhani, CEO of Rua Al Madinah Holding, commended the company’s participation in the PIF Private Sector Forum 2025, which aligns with PIF’s strategy to empower the private sector and support local content by providing several opportunities for entrepreneurs and local and international companies. Eng. Al Juhani also emphasized the significance of the agreements signed during the forum and their substantial impact in accelerating the work on Rua Al Madinah Project. This will enhance the future of the hospitality field in Madinah and enrich the visitor’s experience by elevating the services provided.

To accelerate the progress of Rua Al Madinah Project, the company has signed a contract with Al Rajhi Building and Construction Company to commence the development of its Sales Center. This facility will feature advanced simulation rooms, allowing clients to immerse themselves in a realistic preview of projects before execution. Additionally, another contract was signed with Ammico International Contracting Ltd. to launch the preparatory work for the superstructure within Super Block Five.

Rua Al Madinah Project is one of the most significant hospitality projects in Madinah. It is being developed near the Prophet’s Mosque over a total area of 1.35 million square meters. The project aims to create approximately 47,000 keys to accommodate around 149,000 visitors daily. It will be carried out according to the highest global standards and specifications, with integrated and diverse transportation solutions, facilitating the Prophet’s Mosque visitors’ movement. Furthermore, it will incorporate smart systems and sustainable solutions, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing the quality of services and enriching the visitors’ experience in Madinah.
